Another Nirbhaya! How long will India's daughters be the victim to these filthy animals
And we thought India is learning from the previous mistakes. He has heard the cries of its daughters and that there will be no more Nirbhaya cases. But we all are mistaken. We all are still in darkness, believing that there can be a time when women can walk freely on the Indian streets without being afraid.

Just when I thought that this society has changed,
I watched it sticking labels on a girl's character,
I saw it judging on her clothes and her moves,
Her behaviour and her legs, yet again.
Just when I thought people have changed,
I saw some ogling and drooling on her breast,
I heard shrills and shrieks of a helpless woman,
I saw headlines of another rape, yet again.
Just when I thought things have changed,
I heard people saying she was raped,
For she dressed promiscuously and her skirt was short,
She deserved to be raped and it was her fault, yet again.
Just when I thought that men have turned back into men,
I heard about another turning into a callous wolf,
Devouring a girl, ripping her clothes and soul,
Killing her body and her soul, yet again.
Just when I thought that India became safer for its daughters,
I heard a dreadful story of another Nirbhaya,
Being agonised, humiliated and terrorised,
Paying the price of being a woman, yet again.
Kerala Law student was raped, tortured and murdered. Her intestines were removed, at least 30 injuries were found on her body. She was subjected to strangulation and agonising physical torture. Her head, neck, stomach and chest, all were subjected to severe injuries.
This is even more horrifying than the Delhi Nirbhaya case.
5 days have gone and the police are yet to nab the callous culprits.
• How many more Nirbhayas will have such a macabre fate?
• How many more protests and movements do we need to change
the scenario?
• Is it the failure of our society or humanity itself?
• When will we wake up, when will we rise?
• Is it too late for us or is it still too early for us to wake up?
Candle march and shouting on the top of Qutub Minar is making no change. Stand up to make changes, how many more cases do you want, how many more victims you want to see?
Ask for the changes, where is the fulfilment of the promises made to us to make India's daughters secure?
Enough is enough.
