Journalist Ravish Kumar Slams Media Coverage Of JNU Case And Tells The Real Side Of The Story

JNU is still on fire. ABVP is still putting fuel to the fire, and the politicians, of course, are leaving no opportunity to shovel dirt at each other. Amongst all this, the media started its own trial of the so-called ‘anti-nationalist’ JNU students, and now everybody has their own say on the burning issue. While most TV anchors decided to take the route the ruling power wanted them to, Ravish Kumar of NDTV brought the nation to a standstill last night with his drastically different and sane take on the issue.

There were no visuals, no ‘morphed videos’ but just the audio accompanied by subtitles. He approached the whole issue like it should have been approached from day one, but who cared, TRP is what matters. This particular episode is a tight slap on the face of every person who jumped to blunt conclusions in the name of nationalism.
